There are a few things to consider before just jumping at the cheapest pool service company. It’s pretty often you will go through a few services before/if you find one that is actually good quality. Some pool service businesses have new or rotating employees each week and never are consistent with service or who does the pool. Some will not come every week. Or you may just end up with someone who doesn’t know what their doing! 

Always check around first, see if anyone locally has input on their quality. Check online reviews, FaceBook, NextDoor, etc. Call around and ask for pricing. Some will want to quote you, but if you know the size and all of the pool usually you can mention that and they can still give you an estimate of what it cost on average. We currently charge around $120-135/month for weekly pool service in Citrus county for an average size screened in swimming pool. Most others are right around that price here in Florida as well. Anything under $110/month, I would definitely question their service and stay clear of.

So in conclusion, pool services in Florida are higher in cost then they once were pre-COVID. Expect to pay $120-150/month for a high quality weekly pool service.
