Using EpoxyBond To Repair Your Pool

Date:

With any pool comes repairs. Whether it be your pool pump equipment springing a leak, or finding a crack or missing grout. Proper repairs should always be performed by a pool professional. If you are wanting to fix a small crack, leak or un grouted issue in your pool the EpoxyBond (found here on our website) will do the job. The two part pool putty is great for patching small issues that may not need a full repair just yet. This pool putty epoxy can be used by you or your pool tech with ease to patch varies things.

The EpoxyBond comes in two tubes. Each tube contains a different material when mixed together at a 1:1 ratio and mixed evenly until fully blended will harden promptly after being placed on the issue area and let to dry. EpoxyBond pool repair putty is water proof, so don't sweat avoiding getting it wet. Thats what it's made for, and EpoxyBond works and sets under water. That means it is perfect for patching cracks/holes on your pool surface

Once you mix it together, simply put it over your cracked or missing grouted area and smooth it out into a clean finish. Be sure to wipe away excess putty to create a clean patch. Especially when patching tile grout. You definitely don't want to look at messy grouted tile.

After you are finished patching your problem area, let the putty sit to harden. This may take several hours as this putty will turn into a hard solid material. It is great for small repairs to bandaid your pool's issue until a professional can come out to asses and properly fix the repair.
